DALA APPAREL BRAND SYSTEM


I worked with friend and experimental designer Elizabeth Holmes to develop a brand system for the apparel brand “DALA.” We wanted to capture this awkward energy, eventually going for a mark that juxtaposed playful childish colors with rigid geometry. Then we promptly broke the mark, letting it scatter like so many toy blocks.

The ultimate campaign included handmade patterns for a DIY aesthetic that fit so beautifully with Elizabeth's photo direction.
